Desktop bridge

Download the app that runs work on your computer

The bridge waits for tasks you approve. It never runs anything on its own.

Version 1.5.29
Verify what you install
The setup .exe and .msi (under Other Windows downloads) and the macOS .dmg are unsigned: we hold no Windows or Apple code-signing certificate yet, so SmartScreen warns about them and macOS refuses the .dmg until you allow it by hand. Take them only from this page, and before installing compare each file's SHA-256 with its line in SHA256SUMS.txt, linked under Verify the download. The Microsoft Store and Google Play buttons raise no unknown-publisher warning, because each store signs the package it serves.

Play is the only route: no .apk is published from this page. Play installs the build that matches the phone and keeps it updated.

macOS will refuse this build the first time you open it
The .dmg is not signed with an Apple Developer ID and is not notarized, so macOS blocks it on first launch and says it cannot verify the app is free of malware. To open it anyway: drag AI WorkForce to Applications, try to open it once and let it be refused, then go to System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll to Security, and press Open Anyway. You only do this once. If you would rather not, use the checksum below to confirm the download and wait for a signed build.
Linux installs from our own Flatpak repository
Opening the file above adds the AI WorkForce remote and installs the app; updates then arrive with flatpak update. The repository is signed, and the GNOME runtime it needs comes from Flathub.
Would you rather not use Flatpak? There is a plain .deb.Download .deb

What happens after you install

  1. Install and open the app

On a computer it sits in your menu bar or system tray; on a phone it is simply the app you opened. Either way it is idle until it is linked.

  2. Approve it in your browser

The app opens the approval page in your default browser, where you are already signed in. To approve from another device instead, the app also shows a short code — single-use, and it expires after ten minutes.

  3. Check the device, then approve

Confirm the device name, operating system and app version. The app picks the approval up by itself.

Verify the download

Each release publishes the SHA-256 of every file in SHA256SUMS.txt, linked below. Compare the output with the line for your file, and delete the file if they differ.

macOS / Linux

Windows PowerShell
